The participating companies came from sectors ranging from infrastructure, energy, and mining to financial services, telecommunications, smart manufacturing, e-commerce, and logistics. China has been Brazil's largest trading partner for 17 consecutive years, said Bai Chunhui, commercial counselor at the Chinese Consulate General in São Paulo. Bilateral trade reached $188 billion in 2025 and grew 16% year on year in the first half of 2026. Emerging areas such as new-energy equipment, agricultural machinery, digital services, and green infrastructure are growing strongly and creating more high-quality, stable jobs in Brazil, Bai said.
